LOS ANGELES--actress "Planet of the apes" and former model Estella Warren was arrested after a late-night crash which led to his assault would have been a police officer, and then tried to escape from custody, officials said Tuesday.
Warren was driving Harper Avenue near West Hollywood, when she crashed into three parked cars, Los Angeles police officer Sarah Faden said.
Someone heard the noise of the accident and came to see what was going on. This person called Warren then continued police when it was clear that she was not going to stop and let its information, said Faden.
The person was forced Warren to stop, even if one knew how. Police arrived and arrested Warren on suspicion of driving under the influence, but it assaulted one of the officers, Faden said. 32 Years old actress was then immediately arrested again for agent felony battery.
Police took Warren at Wilshire station, where she was held in a waiting room. Exactly how she managed it was not clear, but Faden said that Warren has slipped on his handcuffs and then burst through a door to the police station and briefly escaped. She was immediately resumed and reserved for a charge of felony escape.
Warren stood at a $100,000 bail.
A call to the Manager of Warren was not immediately returned.
