Meet Michael Bolton... actor?

Michael Bolton can do a ballad boosts, sure. But who knew that he could make people laugh (intentionally)?

The sensation of 58 years singing all but stole the show on "Saturday Night Live" during the weekend, appearing in digital video short "Jack Sparrow" alongside the Lonely Island (the comic geniuses behind a part of the male genitalia is taboo here "in a box" and "I'm on a boat").

When the Lonely Island tries to record a rap club anthem, Bolton breaks, crooner a "Pirates of Caribbean" - choir inspired on a beach, arms open wide: "it is the story of Captain Jack Sparrow/Pirate so brave/on the seas".

When the crew of the Lonely Island ravaged tribute of "Pirates" in Bolton, he strings of characters from other movies hit, including "forrest gump", "scarface" and "Erin Brockovich". (It makes more sense when you watch the video).

The video was a coup for Bolton, which is the 21st studio album, "Gems ?? The Duets Collection", comes out next month. It is also a coup for the "Pirates" franchise, whose fourth episode comes out may 20.

Bolton fans saw before singer comic chops. In 2010, he made fun of himself on "Jimmy kimmel Live!" with a sketch on Michael Bolton Michael Bolton school - a school where he teaches the children how croon like him.
