NEW YORK - Romeo is say goodbye in the Ballroom "Dancing With the Stars".

The actor and rapper (formerly known as Lil' Romeo) was dismissed Tuesday the ABC dance competition.

Exit Romeo has been somewhat a surprise to those who expected rival Ralph Macchio to get the hook after that injury to the leg hurt its performance on the Monday Edition.

After learning his fate, Romeo said that the show has changed her life. He explained that before entering the competition, I was terrified at the idea of the dance. I a not yet dancing to my own prom. ?

Monday, Romeo had won praise from judge Len Goodman, who reminded him that a week earlier, "I told you, ' Up ' your game, and that is all that you have made."

The judges scores are combined with viewer votes to determine what celebrity is set aside each week. Romeo joined already rejected dancers Chris Jericho, Sugar Ray Leonard, Wendy Williams, Mike Catherwood, Petra Nemcova, and Kendra Wilkinson.

The remaining candidates - Macchio, with Kirstie Alley, Chelsea Kane and Hines Ward - will battle it out in the semi-finals next week.
