Paula and Simon together on "the X factor".

Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul are back together once more, in the hope of regaining their TV chemistry for a new show from the Fox talent.

The network announced Sunday that the two former "american idol" judges have met to evaluate aspiring stars sing on "the X factor" Cowell, starting this fall.

The Associated Press reported Saturday that Abdul had signed to be part of the Group of experts, which recorded its first judge Sunday session. Fox and producers of the series was seeking maximum drama by maintaining a runaway Abdul status, up to what it appeared to the registration.

Glammed up in a purple dress confident shoulders and purple heels, allowed Abdul Cowell with a hug outside the auditorium of the University of Southern California where competitors have been developed to audition.

In addition to the long sparring partners date TV, judges include British pop star Cheryl Cole and won a Grammy producer Antonio "L.A." Reid.

"This show would never have been the same without Paula, and I can't believe I say: I missed him much, and I am delighted that it is on the show,"Cowell said in a written statement."."

"I am excited beyond words to be part of 'the X factor'," added Abdul. "I am also very pleased and grateful to be sitting next to Simon yet... but you might want to check back with me in a week or two!"

48 Years old singer, dancer and choreographer prevailed on "Idol" as the nice if, sometimes dizzy seeming judge who often clashed with coloured Cowell in his role as resident bully. She left "Idol" in 2009, after eight seasons, in a contract dispute.

Abdul and Cowell, sitting together for the registration of Sunday as they were usually on "Idol," quickly slipped into their familiar ways, quarrel. But Abdul are also ready to resist Cowell, who is now his boss and his colleague Justice: it is an executive producer of the version of Fox show British at the time that he created.

Announcement of the participation of the Abdul in the new show was held that the negotiations continued until the eve of the first registration, according to a person familiar with the talks. The person spoke on condition of anonymity Saturday that Fox and producers of the series had not allowed for public comment.

A barrier was eliminated by CBS, which included Abdul on "Dance live" earlier this year. She was released earlier this week by the network from other obligations, a person at CBS said Saturday, speaking on condition of anonymity because the network had not allowed the comments to the public on the issue.

"Live to dance", was a series of competitions of talent featuring Abdul created on CBS in January. It is a flop ratings.

Late Saturday, Fox confirmed that the co-hosts of "the X factor" will be Steve Jones and Nicole Scherzinger. Jones is a host of popular TV in Britain. Scherzinger is a former member of the Pussycat Dolls girl group, who appeared on the English version of "The X factor."

The competition is open to the solo singers and vocal groups 12 years and more. The winner will get a record contract of $ 5 million.
