David Silverman, who developed up to $300,000 of his own money to help open the Museum, tells the Washington Post that he has recently received a letter informing him that need to leave space to third floor in Georgetown in July.
The Museum features 200 pinball machines, some where visitors can play, and poster detailing the art and history of the game.
Silverman said he was invited to leave to make place for the renovation of the Mall. Vornado Realty Trust officials refused to comment on the newspaper on the rental contract.
Silverman said he remains committed to keep the living museum.
