Las Vegas teacher responsible for shooting the TV team

A teacher in North Las Vegas faces attempted murder and other charges after police say he fired the shots on a team of television for the Spike TV show reality "Repo games."

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that 40 years Carlos Enrique Barron has been suspended with pay from his job as an educator specializing in Smith Middle School while the investigation continues.

"Repo games" allows debtors a chance to reclaim their repeated cars.

The Review-Journal reported that a crew of the show was looking for a vehicle belonging to one of the neighbours of Barron Tuesday evening.

A police report said that Barron was upset that safety of the crew van was parked outside his house on Court Vigilante. He said Barron confronted the crew with a firearm, slapped one of the officers of crew safety and fired shots at least three. No one was injured.

Police say Barron admitted brandishing the gun but denied firing shots.
