Costs to be abandoned in NY Bieber Mall Frenzy

Justin Bieber agreed to save a message in the public interest on cyberbullying to resolve criminal charges filed against his manager and record Executive after a frenzy at a shopping centre in New York.

The case arose out of an incident in 2009, when thousands of unruly girls mounted in a Long Island clothing store to see the teen pop star sign autographs. Police had not been expecting the crowd and ordered the cancelled event.

Def Jam Records executive James Roppo was arrested after police said he refused to help disperse the crowd. Months later, the police also pressed child endangering charges against Manager the Bieber, Scott Braun.

Braun had not been to the Mall, but the police said that when by telephone, he initially refused an order to send a message to Twitter for Bieber fans telling them that the singer appear.

Prosecutors told a judge Friday that they are dropping out of the charges against the two men. The record company and a management company has pleaded guilty to fire code violations.

In an interview with Newsday, Nassau Kathleen Rice District Attorney stated that she was satisfied with the outcome of the case.

"To have someone like Justin Bieber, who is emulated by the children of his age around the world, raise awareness about the dangers of cyberbullying, which is invaluable,"she said.""
