And this danger is not only limited to Beckett. Marlowe confirmed that before the end of the season, a major character will be in a body bag, and he says that the renewal season 4 fact permitted to take such a risk in the narrative.

"Knowing that we are not in a position where we must resolve everything and we can push us in the most profound mystery and more complex relations, enabled us to adopt this kind of history," says Marlowe. "It was something, that we started to look at in the season, and then after that we have been renewed, I felt very comfortable to go ahead with it."

"It is still poorly uncomfortable for any creator have to terminate a relationship with someone, that they have created along the way," Marlowe continues. "But sometimes to challenge your characters for the continuation of the series, it is important to do something."

Even though we are quite certain that the show would not kill his main female, Marlowe insists that recklessness of Beckett is a major concern. "Everyone knows that in the prosecution of this case, it is basically running of evil and he will get her killed", says Marlowe. "If everyone who cares about him just tent to protect it." At the end of the day, she cares too much here to protect. [Of it] pretty much pushing everyone away. ?
