Black Eyed Peas give free NYC concert in June (AP)

NEW YORK - Get ready to party with the Black Eyed Peas - free of charge.


Won six times group Grammy will hold a free concert in New York City's Central Park on 9 June.


The show - nicknamed "Concert 4 nyc" - will benefit the Robin Hood Foundation's charity targeting of poverty in New York.


Although the show is free, music lovers must have a ticket to enter. More than 50 000 tickets are available via a gift online. VIP tickets will be also sold online.


Partnership of Robin Hood with the multiplatinum Quartet includes funding to launch three academies of Peapod. The school is a youth arts centre began with the Black Eyed Peas.
