Bad Religion frontman to teach evolution to Cornell

LOS ANGELES  - Greg Graffin, leader of the Group of punk rock pillars Bad Religion who received a Ph.d. in zoology from Cornell University and recently published the memory of science "anarchy evolution: faith, Science, and Bad Religion in a world without God""," will teach the evolution at prestigious University this fall.


The half takes place from 24 August to 11 December, leaving "many times in the head from abroad during the weekends!," Graffin jokes in a release issued Wednesday.


In addition, the singer had recently an ancient bird named after him, "qiliania graffini." Paleontologists discovered the fossil in the Province of Gansu, Northwest China. Dr. Jingmai O'Connor explains in Zoological Journal this month of the Linnean Society of London: "" the species name is in honour of Dr. Gregory Graffin, PhD: paleontologist, biologist, Professor, rock star, and source of inspiration for many scientific budding and established around the world. ""


Bad Religion tours Europe this summer. The group plays Roskilde Festival of the Denmark on 3 July.
